r e s p e c t, this is what it means to me.
Everyone wants to be respected. No one likes being treated badly, they want to be treated like they deserve to be treated. God deserves our everything. He is so great and Mighty, and he has done so much for us in each of our lives. He conquered death for us, so that we may be full of life. He deserves the highest praise, glory, and honor. He deserves our respect, our love. We don’t deserve what He has done for us, and we never will. I can imagine that God would be offended if we disrespected Him by not taking the time to praise Him, and to worship Him. Sometimes we Worship with little thought, we just do the motions. That is so disrespecting God. But we have busy lives, some of us have VERY busy lives. I know God knows that. I know that He is fair too. Sometimes we will do whatever we can to keep from offending someone (a friend, teacher, parent, elder). It is GOD who we are not to offend, not people.
